Robert posted this agitator.

It has spiral like vane like a surgelator.

But we know this is not the case.

Is this A....

Blackstone...Or a..

Hamilton agitator ?

Thanks.

Blackstone

I'd wager it's a Blackstone, from the later automatics of the 60s.

Doubly agree, Darren

both to see Nate, and that the cap is the signature vintage pointy Blackstone steel, although the fins have morphed a bit.

I love that last pic, such a lot of splashy goodness there!

Blackstone circa 1960's. I had that machine for a time couldn't get it working and it was missing the front panel so out it went in my apartment phase. Had a smooth SS tub like the mythical Speed Queens too.

Thanks for the pic Mickey, it is certainly even splashier.  One thing I love about the first pic is the patterned Blackstone tub wall, to be honest I don't think I've ever seen a Blackstone in real life so that's serious exotica for me.

Believe it or not, HY

The tub,  which always looked to me like a vintage drum,  i.e., the  percussion instrument, turned inside out --OR,  the inside of one --  is exactly what drew me to the machine--just like you.

Then when I got the Blackstone, I was even more smitten with the furious agitation, and the mechanical timer with a rod and "hand" that reaches  down to the transmission and "works" the gears. So cool.

A new shot for you, coming up in a minute.

And they were "self-cleaning" before it was invented, haha!  Yuh don't have to do a thing to keep 'em pristine.

NOT a WP Surgilator is right.

While I was not sure what to make of it others here figured it out.  All I knew was it had NO FSP part #.
