Very basic washer- 3 temps., normal and delicate cycles, 2 speed machine, only one water level. Probably a standard capacity machine with perhaps a straight vane agitator.

Dryer also standard capacity has three different cycles on it. Can't tell what cycles the machine has because of the pic.

100 for both not a bad price for what you're getting.

Interesting machines. I've been looking for a dryer like that to go with a couple washers I have. It looks to be in decent shape. There were standard and large capacity versions of this dryer, available simultaneously. They were sold as 1981, 1983 and 1985 models. There was also a 1981 version with a walnut colored console with white knobs.

The washer is a 1970 Kenmore 400 series. Yes, standard capacity, and definitely a straight vane agitator. Washer may not have seen huge use as these tops and lids were not porcelain enameled in the 400 series, and thus in many climates except the dry west, they tend to rust. I've only seen that model in catalog pictures. NICE!
