Hey folks, I have a mid 50s pink GE fridge that I have been using for a few years as my back up fridge... it works great. With my new RCA fridge, this pretty GE needs a new home, and I would like it to go to a good home that will keep and enjoy it! I would look to get at least $150 if I post on craigslist, but if there is an AW member who will appreciate it, we can negotiate a price.

Nice looking fridge. That's a 1958/1959 model - just like the one that was furnished in our base housing. I've always liked that handle and the trim across the front.

The height of that handle makes it fairly child-proof, which could have been a selling point.

That's a nice clean, reliable fridge.  I hope someone here wants it, but as long as you're asking for more than it's worth as scrap on CL, it will probably find a good home.

Thanks for the information. I think that I have the original owners booklet, which I will obviously include with the fridge if I can find it!

Any interest out there? I would like this to go to a good home!
