wouldn't have minded a couple of close ups of the consoles to see what those machines offer.

What would make them "commercial" machines? Their brushed metal console perhaps?

Or in another word, Heavy Duty looking JUNK, they will work for a while, but they are no better built than the regular home style junk that GE calls laundry appliances these days.

We maintain several sets of these at a college laundry room here in DC, when the main seals, bearings, transmissions etc let go they go into the crusher and a SQ takes its place.

These machines are ABSOLUTE GARBAGE! It is a waste of resources to even make them. The only good thing is that, because they are built so thin the garbage man can't charge much to haul them away. (He might try anyway to get his bonus LOL.) A small consolation when they die in 1/4 the time of ANY WP, KM, SQ, MT or KA of the time.

GE so-called commercial washer and dryer

My roommate Brandan went to do a load of sheets. When he tried to put the change into one of the washers, it didn't take it. I went into the laundry room to see what was going on. When I entered the launry room, I suggested that he try the one on the far right. He put the change into the far right GE and then... it didn't work! Period! I thought he got shocked or something. It turns out that he was furious at the GE machine. He just proceeded to leave in a rage! I proceeded to tell him about how bad these washers and dryers really are! The one on the far right sounded like a freight train coming down the hallway! There was one broken Kenmore. And yes, the rest are GE's! I suspected that the electronics had something to do with it. These GE's are the hydrowave models. My roommate Brandan and I agreed on one thing! Our agreement was that they should've upgraded the washers and dryers! We were sick and tired of the poor quality of these machines!
