cyclotron control! Almost as famous as the Arc-Cuate 210 transmission! I too use tide in my washer even though SQ did not pack any in there when I bought it! |

My mom had a 1964 Coronado washer; the tub, lint filter and agitator were the same as AMC. I guess they manufactured using the the Coronado name? |

Actually, a cyclotron is a charged particle accelerator, but that's a small detail when companies are trademarking a gimmick. |

They never said that they washed the other half of that shirt in anything !! All she said was the shirt was that dirty and now with Tide it was that clean!! Holy Moly!
I think she also said "cycl-tron" but can't be sure till I see Doctrine on AMC's. Were they Beam machines??
Okay, what is 'GL-70" ??
OMG Mr.Clean on a dog NO WAY! Caustic is very bad for dog coats !! They need their oils!

This TOL model often came with a reservoir type bleach dispenser system, and when you selected the top cycle button for whites you automatically got LCB added, may be this is part of the reason that things got so clean and white.
The Edge Of Night was the only soap-opera I ever watched, it was always on when I got home from school and my Mom was usually ironing and watching, followed it for years and it was better acted than most SOs of the time [ CBS ], but in the end it taught me what a great waste of time SOs were. |

GL-70 was "a blend of anionic sulfonates," according to this site.

Was the AMC also a Kelvinator or when did AMC become Kelvinator? (rhetorically speaking)
Swestoyz, that 1959 washer ....very cool, especially with that round port-hole window. CLICK HERE TO GO TO ovrphil's LINK |
