I've been reading the thread about how they look, specs, etc.
But has anyone used one? We're down to the wire deciding between a Bosch FL & this... Any info would be appreciated!!

Sorry, let me be more specific... the non agitator Oasis is the one I'd like to hear about from anyone who has used it...

Gee, we were hoping you'd spring for one and tell US what you think of it (the agitatorless Oasis, that is.)! I'm not aware that anyone from this site has purchased one, yet. Why not be the first!

Those Bosch machines are good-looking, aren't they? The only complaint I've ever heard about them is they're pretty fussy about suds. A little too much and they shut down. Otherwise, the people around here who have them really like them a lot.

Seems that this is applicable only to the Premium 6400 (but not Basic 3200) because 6400 uses much less water and has "sud sensor".

Well my Oasis arrived as scheduled, but with one problem. The drivers dropped it off the back of the truck!!!! They smashed the entire console. So as of now I am undecided to recieve another one, or take this as a omen that it is not the right time to get one yet!!

You event isn't the only one I've read of the delivery people dropping this machine.

Got truck?

Find someone who has a pickup truck and get it yourself. I don't think I want some gorillas handling my dream machine. Only I will lovingly unpack and setup my dream Oasis machines. Delivery people are so unworthy of touching these machines.

anxious to see how they work ......

Glenn, sorry for the weird "dropping" incident during delivery. I guess when you do something all the time like deliver an appliance your liklihood of error increases ? Anyways, I am VERY anxious to see and hear of how this machine works out for you. How is the '63 Kenmore working ? -- best, gregm

I can see problems with user delivory--If you drop it and break it--too bad.If the delivoryman drops it and breaks it-the store has to replace the item-and yell at or fire the delivoryman. Some delivorymen are skilled in delivoring the products-these are the ones to have--The ones that delivored my projection television from Circuit city had the equipment to safely move it into my home-they helped and took their time as I connected the set to my system.then they gave a breif overview on how to operate it.they also carefully unpacked the set from its crate in their truck-and hauled away the crate.also the delivorymen from Greenville Appliance did an excellent job of delivoring and installing a new KA fridge.I am sure there are some BAD delivormen in the batch!I suppose I haven't run into one yet.

Well, I've seen the 2 goons that delivered my mom's Kenmore Elite set. Yes, they set them up but they did not cut the dryer vent to length (it was about a mile long), they didn't level the dryer, when they "leveled" the washer it was sitting way up high. So I had to level the washer according to specs and cut the flexible (blah) dryer vent so that it was just enough to be able to pull the dryer out.

When they delivered my Frigemore, they took the shipping parts off while it was in the truck then tilted it sideways (hello?) and then the lazy bums didn't want to hook it up so they left it there.

So long story short, the Oasis is coming home with me and my dad and I will be careful.

Wait for your report and possibly video on your Oasis.
