Hi all!

Just moved into a rental house and the landlord is looking to get rid of her old dishwasher. Apparently it does not work, but who knows what that means... isn't even hooked up to a functioning waterline, etc. so I don't what's up. For all I know it works perfectly, we just have no way of testing it in its current location. It's also missing it's bottom panel, so there's that.

She just wants it junked, but I thought that would be kind of a shame as, aside from the lack of heated drying, I understand this model is one of the classics. So I thought I'd try my luck here first.

Basically it's free to anyone who's willing to come here, uninstall it and cart it away. We're in the Los Angeles (Culver City) area. Would be nice for it to find a good home with someone willing to fix it up and appreciate it!

Check out some pics to see what we've got on our hands here. If interested let me know how to get in touch with you here.

Bottom Panel.

That's a nice looking machine but I never understood how someone "looses" a bottom panel to a machine that is installed. Did a repairman accidentally take it away or did it accidentally get thrown out? That's a pretty big and awkward piece of the dishwasher and I'd think someone would know if they were doing anything with it other than its intended purpose. :)

Nice to know though that you're trying to save a nice machine like that one. I know this model is a favorite of more than just a few on this board.

Yeah...

...would be sad if it just ends up getting trashed, so worth a try, I figured.

(Also just realized I probably should've posted this to the Shopper's Square area, which I've just done. Apologis for the double post!)
