I don't know if anyone can make it out but the logo for the stove is right below the light lens above the center of the cooktop. Unfortunately I can't make it out.

You are right. Some had a warming shelf on top and others provided a place for a microwave oven.

that's what I thought it was but wasn't sure. A neighbor down the street had one back in the day.

Looks more like a Montgomry Ward Signature.   If it was a Tappan,the logo would be more visable. Tappan did make,this for Wards along with their microwave ovens.
