Like my pride and joy. Man, did I bake pound cakes in those ovens, Two at a time baked in the master oven (one on each shelf) while one baked in the companion oven. All turned out beautifully. I canned tomatoes & spaghetti sauce in the 16 qt canner on the front element and used the range a lot. When I moved into my house in '92, there was a gas stove in the kitchen, so I did all of my cooking on this range downstairs until I got an electric range in the kitchen. She is enjoying a well-deserved rest, but just has to be plugged in and is ready to cook some more. This is a wonderful range. The minute timer has a gentle bell chime instead of a rude buzzer.

FRIGIDAIRE RT-70 parts

any suggestions where I might find at least an oven rack guide for the right hand side of this double oven stove? during a house renovation, I was cleaning mine, the contractor came in and moved it and all the parts. SOMEONE threw away one of the oven rack guides in the cleanup although everyone denies touching it. Contractor fired now. LOL

please help.me.........thank you!!!

<3 <3

PS: I could also use the shield type thing that goes up over the clock but i would be happy just to have another rack guide...

Hi Lourie What is an oven rack guide ? The oven rack Guides-rails are part of the oven liner and are not removable.

On the 54 models

The oven rack guides or supports are removable.

I just looked in mine

They are black porcelain like the oven liner, have flat vertical rails and the supports for the racks are round rods. I hope that your contractor has excellent insurance; he is probably going to have to buy and transport to you one of the RT70s for sale in various places on the internet. Buy one quickly; they don't come up for sale that frequently.

I will help by buying a couple of parts from you.

Here is the right-sided one. I have a welder taking a look to see if they can reproduce the missing one.
