This is a Frigidaire condenser dryer. What is the temperature range of this thermostat and how many terminals are present?

It's a single-pole, single-throw capillary tube thermostat.

The design temperature range was 140 - 210 degrees.

I'm afraid I'm unfamiliar with a capillary tube thermostat on a dryer. What does one look like and how does it function?

Dave

The Robertshaw 5300-621 is considered a functional replacement thermostat (6593603) for the DCI-58 Filtrator dryer.  The temp range is lower than the earlier 1952-1955 Filtrators (100-200 vs. 140-210), but it *MIGHT* work physically.

Do the homework and make sure the specs are similar before committing.  :)

Ben
