Hi everyone,
I was wondering if someone could answer a question about wringer washer parts. I recently ordered a parts manual from Daves repair service for the E series machine; however I received the parts manual for the N2 series. Are the parts the same for both the E and N2 wringer washers? I noticed on Dave's website that when I click to order the E series manual, the N2 appears on the order form, so I
wondered if it was an error or that they are the same. Dave seems to be too busy to respond to my inquuries. Thanks for any help. Susie

Hi Susie,

I have never bought anything from Dave so I don't know of his reputation. As far as parts go for underneath the washers the N and the E are the same. Of course the tubs and wringers are different. The N has a smaller 16 gal round tub and the wringer is shaped different and has smaller diameter rolls than the E. The wringers on the J and E models are the same wringers. So, I guess I would try to reach Dave someway and get a refund and maybe buy one from Phil in NY. I can give you Phil's info if you don't have it. I know he has manuals also. Good Luck !!!!!

Jim

Hi Jim,
. I'd like to order a manual from Phil, and would very much appreciate that info. I will continue to try to get a response from Dave; however, another member mentioned that, after several emails to Dave about a problem with his order, he never did get a response. Thanks for your help.

Susie

Questionable reputation for Dave...

Like I said in a previous post, after my first - and only - experience with Dave's Repair, I would exercise caution when buying from him. I had an issue with a download and NEVER received a response from numerous e-mails.

I did find the business listed on Yelp, with a phone number. Perhaps it's worth the long-distance phone charges to talk with him personally. Let us know the outcome, because if it's not positive, I think as a club, we should boycot his services.

I just wanted to let you know that I got an email from Dave acknowledging the mistake and offering a sincere apology for the error on his web site.. He has corrected the problem , and has agreed to either send the E2 manual CD or allow me to download it at no charge. So, I guess he's an "ok" guy and we can trust him with our business. Thanks for your responses. Susie
