Or "Musical Bloody Appliances 2014"
To be fair, I have to mention that none other than Hubby helped me with this 'presto-chango-rearrango' that I have been itching to do for some time. I wanted to have a chance to get some of my 'newer' acquisitions out of the storage lock-up and into the laundry room.
So, here's what things looked like on Saturday in Ogden: |

First up - the pair that started it all here in Ogden back in 2009. The Inglis Sterlings, 'Roger' and 'Mona' are back in service and back together again! This post was last edited 06/15/2014 at 18:45 |

And of course, the 1963 Canadian Frigidaire Deluxe washer is part of the line-up. It always will be, too - this is one of those washers I never would give up. Well, unless a 58 Ultra-Clean in turquoise pops up... LOL This post was last edited 06/15/2014 at 18:36 |

And like little Jack Horner, the 63 GE Filter Flo has taken the corner spot. I was reluctant to put this machine into storage for fear of drying out the transmission boot (oh, all right, I like it too much to put it away...). I just need to do a little hose lenghtening to get it to the nearest drain spout and I'll be all set.
Of course the 53 Canadian Westy pair retain their slots and will not be going anywhere until I croak... LOL |

Methinks this might be a good locale for a wash-in.... |

Very nice - you've been a busy boy! As always, my totally favorite model is the 1963 GE, how could anyone not be blown away by that styling? And where is it's mate? You don't mention a name; maybe "Ronnie" (dryer could be either "Jane" or "Nancy"), since RR was spokesperson for GE before he got into politics.
Do we see yet another GE washer in the background in the last shot.....

Greg - despair not! I've removed the offending hose... Honestly it was just there for a few minutes while I took the picture. No really... Please don't hurt me... LOL
Jim - I would love to host a wash-in but there would be a lot of logistical hurdles... US citizens need a valid passport to enter Canada and not everyone has one. The house in Ogden is WAY off the beaten track and has only one true guest room... I'll probably do another version of 'Turquoisedude's Virtual Wash-In' in the meantime!
Eddie - the 'new' 53 GE should go to the secret storage location. I have a couple of projects on the cards for this summer and I'll be distracted by it if I keep it around... LOL
Lawrence - The 63 GE's mate is safely stored... for now... I hadn't named them yet, but Ronnie and Nancy would be very appropriate... And yes, there is an unrestored 1957 GE washer (a suds-saver no less!) in the background of that last picture. This machine was supposed to be this year's project - I hope that I will be able to get to it! And, big surprise, I have the matching dryer!!
