Hey there gang,

It is time for some stuff to start moving from my basement.  I've got a few machines on their way, and this will be the first of a few postings of things for sale.

Last winter I did a full mechanical restoration of this washer.  That included a really nice mid-80's transmission transplant, completely rebuilt brake package with new spin tube, a replacement center plate with a good center post, brand new bearings and seals pressed in the center post, new pump, lubricated motor, etc.  Too much to list.

The washer is in pretty good cosmetic shape, so I haven't done anything to the washer in that regard.  I had disconnected the suds switch as I didn't have a provision to use the suds valve, so I can re-connect this for the seller, if needed.  The scrubber cap that will come with the machine will be a bit more worn that what is shown in the photos.

I've used the washer maybe about 2-3 dozen times since I've completed the work, and it runs flawlessly.  In fact this may be one of the quietest belt drives I've heard, post restoration.  Take a look at the videos on the link to listen for yourself.  cool

I'm not trying to make a huge amount of money off this washer, but instead cover the restoration costs and what I originally paid for the washer.  I'm looking to get a best offer at or above $500.  You won't find this washer really anywhere, let alone have it be completely mechanically restored.   By Wednesday the 25th, at 10:00 CST, I'll let the highest bidder know that they got the washer.  And if no one decides to bite, I'll throw it on ePay.  Shoot me a PM if your interested, or email me at bswestka @ gmail.com.

Thanks for looking!

Ben

I have to confess, I looked at this sale offer many times, but they're like puppes at the pound -- you can't have them all.
