I now have 1/2 of My "Dream Team" Machines.

A MAYTAG DG700 to DG 702 Turquoise Dryer -- I have to check
Model # . I picked it up last night in Sayreville, and
brought it back to my garage, near Waldwick, NJ, and put it
away. Haven't even had time to really check it out, but I
did get a few pics.

SO!! I am NOW on the Hunt for a Matching Maytag Turquoise
washer, that will complete the Set. I've been wanting this
color in the worst way.......I know who hasn't / LOL.

Anybody who knows of One for sale, or can Keep me in Mind,
when looking around, I would Greatly Appreciate it.

ALSO, as you can see I need the Gas Pilot Door for this Dryer.
If anyone has one that they are looking to sell, please let me know.

Thanks Everyone.

Wish Me Luck. I'm really Psyched :)

Louis

BTW--Mister Eric is looking for a White 806 Series Dryer. Keep
an eye out for him, as well, please.

THANKS, LOUIE.....

I love it. It does need some work, but what doesn't,
at this age :) I can't wait to work on it. It will
be awhile, until after I'm moved, but just getting it
is Exciting. That's the hard part with these colored
sets.

I DO hope I find a Maytag Washer, soon, to match.

Take Care.

Louis

Congratulations on getting the turquoise dryer, Louis!  Sometimes that's the 'bait' you need to draw a matching washer out of hiding...  That's how I got my A702 washer LOL!

I promise that I'll let you know if spot one.  No really!  I will!  Honest.... wink

It's very Cool to be a part of this Group.

It's great to know we all support each other.
I Definitely appreciate it.

It would be Great if anyone could find a
Matching Washer for me. That would make it
"DOUBLE AWESOME" /Lol.

I'd Love to see the thread on how to light the
Flame Martin. That's crazy man.

Hello swestoyz :) Do you know something I don't ??
Sounds slightly promising. Keep me posted.
Thanks.

Thanks again to everyone who chimed in:)

My Best,

Louis

Louis is a super nice guy and definitely has a love for vintage things, and I'm glad that this lovely machine will have a great home. I hope you can find all the missing bits, and perhaps someone here can help modify this into an electronic ignition burner.

I believe this machine was originally from PA. I took it on trade for a post war bendix bolt down. Sadly it was too large for my cramped laundry room.

The dryer I'm looking for is a white gas 800 or 900 series 'Tag to match my A806. Also on the lookout for a suds saver A806.

THANKS AGAIN EVERYONE......

newvista58's profile picture
Sorry about the last message. I got booted out,
and had to log in again.

Thanks to Martin for the Link to the "Blue Flame" -- Very Cool.

Thanks for the Kind Words Mister Eric. I'll def keep an eye out
for your Dryer, as well.

Thanks for weighing in Justin & Peter. It's good to hear from you.

I'm definitely interested in the Access Door Kenny. I sent you
a message. Thanks.

The timing on this is Great, as I feel as if I just graduated since
I have moved up from having only White W/D's to my first Machine
in Color, and Most Excellently in Turquoise. I love my 700s (white), but I
was definitely gunning for Turquoise (or yellow) for a long time.

I hope everyone Gets the Machines they Most Want.

Now....Ironically I'm off to the Laundromat. Still waiting to
close on my own place.

Catch y'all Later.

Louis
