while appliance hunting the other day-found a Calypso washer at one of the swap shops I visit-something strange about it--Has a Black washer cabinet body-but a White control panel-Is the White panel "Bojack"?They were trying to sell it for $125.The "Agitator" disc was white-did these come in black to match the black body?Any comments on what I saw?

Re: Calypso Cabinets and Wash Disk:

The Cabinets and Consoles for the most part are Color-Coordinated {White-On-White, Gray-On-Gray, Almond-On-Almond, although the Consoles of both the Almond and White on the WP are the same Color mated} and all of the WP/Kenmore Calypso Wash Disks are a standard White Color, the only main difference is the center Hub, on the Kenmore is liks a Plus Sign Shape, where the WP Hub to me looks like the Top-Swirl of the Soft Freeze Ice Cream.

Peace and Fun Calypso Washing, Steve

At this point not planning on buying the machine I saw--since the control panels are electronic-how can you be sure the "Bojack" one will work?-and the fact it isn't original.I had seen the difference in the WP-vs KN Calypso agitators-remember seeing a WP one at Lowes-yes it had the Swirly pattern like ice cream.-and it was white.Just wondered if the agitators were color matched to the cabinets as well.Doesn't look like thats the case then.Thnx for the info.think I will pass on the one I saw.

Kenmore Calypso

If that machine has a bad control panel forget it they are over $200.00 to replace not worth fixing
