I wonder if that machine possibly belongs to a club member? That machine just looks too nice for it to be put up for sale just by anyone. It wouldn't be cleaned up so well cause that machine sure does look mighty fine! ;)

Here's the link to the machine.

washdaddy....I was thinking the same thing

I checked the seller's completed listings and there is zero related item at all in there. I thought surely it was AW member or an appliance shop owner given the state of the machine cosmetically. I want it. Other side of the country, of course.

A beauty! Frigidaire had so many wonderful consoles from 1957 through the mid-60s. Great design and style.

.. but seller's name is "washerman" and he describes making two repairs - so he must be a collector - someone should wave our flag in front of him (as the new member of two weeks declares -hahahahahahhahhahahahaha)

Nothing ever seems to show up close to home does it Allen? The picture looks familiar to me. I think Ive seen it on here sometime this year.

I suspect this could be "Bygted" here on AW.   He has been slowly selling off excess machines he has.

I believe it's Easyspindrier's machine

I believe it belongs to James. Note the stain in the control board to the lower left of the progress dial.

I have been churning with lust for this machine for days now... I just don't know about the consequences of bringing home another washer.

Looks like scoots is right...

Sharp eye re; that stain. Awhile back I posted something asking folks what they felt was an average acceptable price to pay for a machine like this....I never really got any kind of figures out of anyone. The BUY IT NOW price on the ebay listing for this Frigidaire is just about where I thought a realistic figure would be. SOOOOO tempted to do it, but as we all know~cross country transport/insurance/damage likelihood makes this kind of thing not-too-doable sometimes :-(

HA! It's been bid on....

funktionalart's profile picture
by someone with zero feedback rating. Which has effectively killed of the BUY IT NOW option. Crap.

Allen-
You could always try e-mailing him directly to see if he's up for an offer from you since you are a fellow member maybe he will take that into consideration. His e-mail is listed in his profile.

If you are interested in getting it that is. At least you have the advantage of knowing who the actual owner is as opposed to that bidder on e-bay. The possibility is there......you never know.

Good luck,

Rick
