Flint must attract weird colors.  This is being sold by the same place where that odd color Hotpoint is.

True, and just like how Sears had a myriad of designs for their washers and dryers, I would say their ranges came second in also having a multitude of uniqueness, almost on a just-as-annual basis...!

I guess I just prefer a more exciting hue...

Kenmore/Whirlpool Coppertone was always a pinker, lighter shade than some other makes such as GE or Maytag. My Aunt Julie's Kenmore dishwasher and another relative's Kenmore dryer were the color of the range shown. When they came out with the Coffee color, it was much darker.
