Except for handle and name its exactly like my parents 1948 Kelvinator which was their first fridge after they were married.

Do a Super Forum search and you'll find many references to Leonard brand appliances.  Everything from refrigerators and freezers to stoves.

Leonard and Kelvinator

Were identical...they even had a Leonard Foodarama!

Now that I look at the pictures the inside of the door looks like my 53 Kelvinator....even the placement of the sticker!

We had a Leonard fridge (with separate top frost free freezer) when I was growing up. I think my parents purchased it in the mid to late 60s. My sister has it now and uses it as a 2nd fridge in her home.

Bruce in Tulsa has talked about the many, many Leonard washers and dryers he's seen over the years - all Kelvinator built.
