I've really come to love vintage Philco styling ... especially the refrigerators... Here are a few from around the country

When I was a kid, our next door neighbors had the bottom freezer version of the Denver fridge.  It seemed huge, particularly when compared to the single door '49 Westinghouse we had.   It was the first refrigerator I'd ever seen that had a pedal to open a (freezer) door.

I always love the "fully restored, these go for thousands on eBay" justification.

Then go restore it, already, and get your thousands. Until then, it's an old fridge.

I like the blue-green adornments on the ones above. Nothing says "nice and cool" like blue-green and turquoise in a fridge. Except the things that get said, I'm sure, the first time that all those molded pieces fracture from age and dump the contents of the door and crisper all over the floor.

But a girl can dream. :-)

The first two are very similar to mine. It's a wonderful refrigerator and I love it!
