Rich! This would round out your blossoming KitchenAid collection nicely.

Now that's something I would like to start a dw collection with. I love the portables, especially KA's which growing up were considered TOL machines

From the styling with the "wood grain" vinyl, it is probably from near the end of the run. This one does not have the "Soak" cycle, so maybe that was the difference between the "Electra" and the top of the line portable. It also does not have the "Guide Bar" mounted on the front. The last portables did not, but maybe the less-deluxe Electra never did. Dunno. The first Electra portables had the lift up rack, but still had the Big Blue Wash Arm. The cycle was like the 14 or 15, but with a real detergent dispenser, unlike the first portables.

No, I was talking about the top loading portables. Sorry.
