My wife and I are looking for GE pieces to finish our kitchen. We are looking for a dishwasher and fridge. Who is holding? :) | ||

Woodtone is a pretty rare find... I have seen a fridge once or twice (none that I have seen for sale right now), but I don't recall ever seeing a woodtone dishwasher! | ||

The Fridge....
....Turns up in the '57-'58 models with reasonable frequency, if you're talking about the 16-cubic-foot model with the brushed-metal "glamour" panel on the freezer drawer front. In fact, most of those I've ever seen are Woodtone Brown. The 13-foot model, which did not have the "glamour" panel, seems almost never to turn up in Woodtone Brown. Puzzling, but that has been my experience.
Fair warning: The '57 and '58 models were automatic-defrost in the fridge compartment, but the freezers were manual defrost. If you find one from those years, make sure your wife knows that before it comes into the house. Fair's fair. | ||

Apparently these are that colour...
They look harvest gold in the shots but others up here have decided this is a photography glitch and that they're actually Woodtone...
