those are definitely Frigidaires in Pic 2. Those people probably don't realize what they are getting rid of just because there are new machines in the house that they moved into.

The Frigidaires are Frigidaire ... but I'm not good enough to tell if GM or WCI.

That KA dryer is nice ... has a fluorescent lighted console.

I'm pretty certain those Frigidaires are GM. The shaded color indicates production prior to about 1977.

shaded finish is the tell-tale, then- GM with Frigidaire labels - they look pretty nice ..again, a shame no other photos.

These are a 1977 Imperial pair. The Jet Action 1-18 washer with a 6 position Fabric Selector, sok, soak and wash, and soak and wash with extra rinse option selector and the infinite water level selector. I had these,in Poppy decades ago. Mine were a bit doctored up. I replaced the lid with a window lid and over rode the lid switch.

Kenmore - focus on dryer--NOT!!!!

I think someone posted a Kenmore washer like that one here before--picture, and all!

And I happen to like that design...  Two Water Levels and a "Legend" for the Water Temperature, in accordance to where the Timer is set, in place of a Knob!

I'm even trying to find that particular post that, that "ugly duckling" is posted in...

Obviously, someone wanted "something that just washes clothes", in place of the original "mate" for that older, more "higher-up model" dryer, which had lost its "garment washin' spouse"...!

Yep, that Frigidaire washer is a "thumper".

Hey Phil, keep in mind that Frigidaire went to unshaded colors in '77, while still owned by GM. They were sold to WCI in '80.

While the WCI Frigidaires had very similar control panels, the cabinets were different on both the washers and dryers. The GM washers had the horizontal line across the lower half of the cabinet front, and the dryers had the full-width door, rather than the inset type of the WCI made machines.
