Located in Quebec, Canada. $3250 - OUCH!
The seller posted in the Imperial forum looking for advice (on price I'm sure) almost exactly one year ago. (see link below)
As I had originally e-mailed the seller a year ago, they just sent me an e-mail with the ebay link.

I think the seller thinks this is about the same quality as a Miele has, and priced it accordingly. All I can think of is the dried out seals in that thing. |

Seller needs to prepare himself to die with his secret, that is few if any persons even the most serious vintage appliance collectors are going to shell out >$3K for that machine.
New old stork or whatever Launderall machines even in their day were unreliable. Suppose being "new" *might* prolong the time before any repairs are required (if the thing was put into service), assuming the seals etc... will hold, but still. Perhaps if the thing were down South it could fetch something around that price, but arranging shipping from Canada to the USA is going to be dear if possible at all. Now if this were a NOS Miele, AEG, or any other European made H-Axis machine of a more recent vintage, then yes things would be different. |

I don't blame the seller for asking this price, yes it is likely that he won't get it and while I have paid this kind of money for really rare appliances that I wanted I am not interested in this washer. Like Laundress mentioned these were unreliable when new so the chances of this one working are not good.
