2 Vids of my dryer in operation. Below you can see how strong the venting is. Notice all 3 slats are open. With the GE I would have 2. This load is consists of 4 bathroom towel sets.
Has anyone else posted dryer vids?

Second vid is inside, mainly to capture the sounds when in operation.

First Off....

Did you ever clean the GE dryer's blower housing? That could be why there were only 2 slots opening. Becasue lint builds up it reduces air flow and may pose a fire risk. 2 is this dryer new? it may explain why all of them are open. We have dryed 6 full size bath towels in our mayatg/whirlpool dryer and all the slots would always open.

Yes

Each year, I would pull the GE out and use a shop vac to remove all the lint. There was never much to remove.
