Ad reads:

I am selling a 1955 Kenmore electric range/oven. This unit is in perfect working condition with one exception. The control for the right front burner doesn't work properly. This unit has these additional features: large griddle, rotisserie, inner coil/both coil selection and extra storage. The stove has a height of 36 inches, 36 inches wide and approximately 28 inches deep .Model number is 101937600. I am asking $100 OBO

Is this stove really from 1955?  Looks newer to me but I don't know much about stoves.

By no means is that 1955, the "sheer look" didn't appear until 1957
I'd think 1965 is closer but could be into the early 70s

I'd say Hans is right, as it couldn't be much later since the outlet in not the grounded version.

It is beautiful, BUT pretty is as pretty does and Hans is the expert in this area, speaking as he does from having had one in the kitchen that is now no longer there, dismissed, as it was, with a "Don't call us; we'll call you."
