Gasp!!  Never thought that Kenmore did a version of 'Sapphire'...   I've only ever seen a refrigerator in this colour - pretty rare and unusual for sure.

(Pssssst! I think it's really a WHIRLPOOL!)

Doesn't someone else here have a Sapphire washer that this dryer would go with?

There is one of the rotating POD's that show that year of various Whirlpools in one of Robert's scanned brochures and there is a blue dryer like that. Sapphire, I think it was called.

Kenmore did offer this color at the time, and called it "Shaded Slate" instead of "Edged Sapphire".

Here it is. The machine is in amazing mechanical condition. The body is decent. Scratches on the top.

Matt, VERY pretty!   I love the color because you very rarely see it!  Does it have a lit console?   Interesting there is no interior light.

John Lefever has a WP washer in this color in his museum, or he did at the time I shot this video.   Go to 3:35 to see the washer.

everythingold!!! that is a pretty blue dryer!!! i like the way the corners are curved at the bottom of the console. it looks like that is a white plastic lens (for light???). it sort of reminds me of a convertible car with it's top down.
VERY NICE!!!

and great video there kevin. sounds like some great tunes were playing in the background. thanks for sharing.

:o)
