$2400....fairly decent...but it's gonna need a good body-man or dent puller on that one door...!

A Foodarama for Drew. Look at it, buddy. Wouldn't that be just beautiful in your kitchen? Better go get it. Don't worry about that big dent in that door. And the price is just right. LOL.

And it's Bermuda Pink! I haven't heard of this color yet. Is that "off white with cigarette stains?" Looks like just the ticket.

The price isn't HORRIBLY scary....

for one of these....but I'd think with the work involved with that dent a better price might be more like $1400-1600 max.

That dent wouldn't dissuade me for a microsecond. That fridge is still nice and very complete. I'm no expert on these, but it doesn't look to me as if anything is missing. After this many years that's rare. With some careful disassembly the dent can be pushed back out from the back side and finished off with a touch of Bondo. It needs to be repainted anyways so no big deal. If anyone is looking for one of these this should be well worth considering.

Nice! It does look complete; they don't show the juice containers, but it appears to have all of the other parts. I would love one of these, it's on my dream list, but I'll need a larger kitchen to justify getting one of these. Also, living in a split level makes hauling kitchen appliances fun. :)

I had to tease Drew about it a little. Too good to pass up.

This is the first time for me that I've seen a SXS frig of the this vintage. I am surprised at the nice condition of the interior but when I saw the corner of the frig door was a bit shocked and thought 'OWWWWWWWWWWW' how in the heck did that happen.

That would be a beast of a frig to have in a kitchen but I wouldn't want to be the one that would have to move it.

Definitely would be a nice addition to somebodies collection all fixed up and shining. But I think that seller needs to come down below the $2000 mark because of the damage to it.

Price drop!....

Checked in on the ad again today and it's down to $1700/offer....which is the ballpark I'd predicted. Anybody up here going to chase this one up?

The reality is that it's big and expensive.  The cost to ship that thing is going to be high.  Unfortunately, homes seldom have room for multiple fridges. frown

My thought was....

That there is a small group of Food-a-Rama collector/restorers out there. The things are so scarce--whenever I have found one it always is incomplete...and is always pre-sold. Which is why I'm surprised this unit is still available.

Well...

The price is part of what's stopping me. Another reason is that my first and persistent back injury was from one of these monsters. This one is really cool, tho.
