One more (last?) item to clear out, this one is a 19" x 12" 3-fold portfolio from GE introducing their "New Naturals" colors (1977) - Almond, Harvest Wheat, Onyx, Snow, Fresh Avocado, and Coffee. The front and back cover are a faux suede (padded); left edge has split to reveal the foam and cardboard core, but the portfolio is not falling apart, still folds and opens fine.
Inside are 3 pockets of color chips and brochures - large, single chip sheet of each color (onyx and coffee are stuck together, came this way and I think it would destroy one or both if they were separated), two color cards with one small chip of each color, and 3 copies of the small brochure that Robert scanned and posted here.
There are 6 full-page kitchen scene transparencies and 6 full-page color sheets (one of each color); these are arranged so that each kitchen scene can overlay each of the color sheets to demonstrate the different appliance colors in the same setting. I have included photos of one scene with all but the white (Snow) color.
This appears to have probably been intended to be used in an appliance dealer's showroom. It has been used, but is still a very cool PR tool showing what was new in 1977. I would like to get $50 + shipping for the portfolio. If you're interested, please send me a PM.
