I see it's listed in the antiques section. I certainly doesn't belong there, but some folks just assume if it's a wringer it must be an antique. I went on a tour of the Christmas Story house in Cleveland last year, and they had one of these with the blue trim on display in the kitchen. I told them it was far too new to be appropriate considering the period they were trying to recreate, but they didn't seem to take me seriously. Like I said, some folks just think all wringers are old. |
