Anything that uses water, i.e. clothes and dishwashers, as I have been told, better be anything but what ranks as an 'off-brand', such as these...

It's got a porcelain on steel,indexing tub and a recirculating filter. I don't remember whether or not it's on the rear of the wash basket like the Westinghouse 18s or on the agjtator like the same era Gibsons or Bradfords.
