really really odd, Christina - I copied and pasted your link into my area above and got the same dead link...
whatever it is , it's not the usual https problem(I am often removing the "s" from the link I copied from the ad, where "http" works and "https" causes a problem.

FYI - I can get to the link, but the usual copy from the address bar to the aw.org box for posting changes something...it's not like I can't get to the link and it should allow me to copy and paste into the edit box. No worries, Christiana - have a good one, and thanks again!

nice set, almost like Granny's

Good looking set, Phil. Seems like a fair price since they are clean. Never have seen a center dial Maytag in operation, nor seen one up close in person But always wanted a set after seeing Granny's in the Beverly Hillbillies. lol

It might be disappointing though, ComboJohn (John L) said the Maytag Center dial washer is not exciting.

If I recall, one of Granny's units did not have a center dial, but was pushbutton only control. I don't remember there being an episode where she ever used them. I guess she washed their clothes in the "cement pond." :)

the white set is a 606 pair.  The gold set, the wash3er is a 206 and the dyer is a lower-end model too.

as far as the link not working when Phil posted the link there was a "[this" after the html on the address. If you backspace and clear those characters off the initial post link the link will work.

Who only knows why that was added to the link...but that's the glitch that snafu'd it

You know, I momentarily saw something at the end, then it was gone. Something flakey happening here, I closed down the computer for a while and restarted. So far, no problems ,but that's strange Rick, as I couldn't see it to delete it and I did see something at the end, but only momentarily. Damn computers! ;-)
