Hello everyone.
I've just installed this dishwasher that I haven't used since picking up awhile ago, and it's making some noises that concern me.
The full model number is YKUDA230YW0 on the tank, and it says "Goldseal Reversing Motor" on a gold sticker on the motor.
I cleaned out as much gunk as I could on the lower wash-arm and filter (why so many screws???), but got stuck trying to take the (I think) impeller off. I tried using a wrench to hold it steady while trying to take the screw off, but didn't want to force it so put it all back together and ran it empty. I then heard what sounded like something rattling around deep in the bowels of this thing, but it wasn't doing this through all the cycles and also heard some other kind of buzzing noise from the same area which only lasted a couple of seconds
So, I'd like to get in there past the point of my last clean-out and see what that rattling is all about.
Any suggestions how to get this thing out/off?
If it would help I can get the actual picture of the part I'm stuck on, but was hoping with that model number and these pics I'm including someone would recognize this model and know what I'm talking about as my camera's batteries are dead and they take forever to charge.
Thank you,
Christine.
