I have a couple of questions. I have been searching for a kick plate for my KDS-18 with no luck. Original part # was D-115957 and appears to now be part #4171618. I've searched ebay and parts stores but cannot locate it. Any suggestions? I would also like to find some stainless steel panels for this machine if anyone has suggestions on that. I haven't been able to locate those either. I am willing to pay for these and any associated shipping costs if anyone has either available.

Also, I don't think the lower wash arm is turning at normal speed. How do I know if the wash arm support needs to be replaced?

These are around, I am sure that we have several available, message me with information and I can send you one.

If the slow turning lower wash is in good condition otherwise and you have the proper fill level you can speed them up nicely by slightly twisting the end of the #4 tube for greater propulsion.

Thanks for that tip John. Going to try this on my KDS-58.

Can you identify for me (and maybe others) which of the four tips is tip #4?

Hi Todd, most KA WAs have the numbers 1-4 stamped in them on the top of the tubes near the Bakelite hub, I am not sure when they started stamping the numbers on them, I know that my KDSS-20 has them.

Yep, just checked my wash arm, and the numbers are there. Gave #4 a little twist and it definitely sped up the rotation speed. Thanks!
