I tried to resist buying Frigidaires this time so I got a Maytag set! The washer will need repairs, I didn't have the space to bring back the dryer but the next time we get there...
So other projects... |

The prices were quite reasonable. Of course it still added up fast.... OOPSIE...
Understandably, there were some specialty items (fully-restored monitor-top refrigerators and a couple of custom-built 'kegerators') that had reserve prices but the rest of the items went to the highest bidder! Phil and I did not manage to outbid each other on anything, fortunately... LOL
I almost cannot believe that the Blackstone washer still runs! I'm going to be doing some serious scheming about how to get to Ogden. It's temporarily living in a property that I have up for sale... Gotta let the agent know this item is most definitely NOT included in the house sale, should a buyer materialize LOL! |

Nice machines! The GE Frost Guard is in beautiful shape! Where the stickers the item number or the price? Lift with your legs and not your back! |

The stickers were the item number and the number of the bidder who 'won' them. I was doing most of the bidding under Phil's orders so my number, 64, shows up on a LOT of items... LOL
I think we're going to take a trailer down next time. And an appliance dolly.
Geez but that Blackstone was a heavy one - we wound up carrying from Phil's truck into the house and we very thankful there was not already snow on the ground up here...
Now, time to learn more about Blackstone and that model BA600! |

I don't know if Phil got any photos of it, but I also nabbed a 1959 or 1960 (I didn't check the date code on the model number..shame on me) GE WA350 'slim silhouette' automatic washer. It's not fancy - just a low-profile console with a single speed and cycle and only a choice of hot or warm wash. This one's been in the Hansen's warehouse for a while and I could not resist it this time. It's a solid tub, non-filter-flo, very basic machine with an activator that looks a lot like the 1957 one.
Another one for me to be looking up... |

Hi Phil and Paul, it looks like you guys found some great appliances and while I wish I was there it might be a good thing I wasn't.
Paul that Blackstone washer looks interesting I have never gotten my hands on one and would love to see it run someday. This Blackstone washer has no connection to an Easy Velva power Washer and remember I do have lots of Blackstone parts from Fred in Springfield Mass. Can't wait to see more pictures of the Blackstone. |

a fair number of machines did not get sold, so there may still be some good finds there for someone who gets there before too long... the ultimate fate of the business as to whether it's closing for good, transitioning to something else, or ? is unknown.
Thanks Phil & Jon for making it possible to get my soon-to-be 1st ever 1-18... WOOT!! |

is home! Frigidaire W-2 Crown 1-18 in Harvest Gold with window!
Picked it up last Tuesday on a lovely sunny afternoon in Queensbury NY, Hans was most helpful in loading it on our way to celebrate T-day in Vermont with family, and we came home with it Sunday afternoon and got it down into the basement yesterday...a real job, I need to invest in an appliance dolly! Next up will be an initial evaluation, using my zero-knowledge base of these machines! ... but a report will be forthcoming! BTW there's still a few vintage machines there, 2 GE early '60s fridges in yellow and turquoise, some older ranges, a Poppy Frigidaire Deluxe range and Poppy ~15 cu ft fridge, a Chambers model B I think, and some others. I think Hans would be very happy to have more space, so go see and buy!
