Lid off. You can see a) The complex fill system and b) The tube at the back left of the tub under the fill tubes is for venting for the dryer, hose attaches like any other vented dryer. |

That looks almost identical to a Mondia branded washer dryer I bought in Currys in around 1990 although the door latch (from memory) was different and it has three square buttons on the front instead of the two round buttons and indicator lamps. But the knobs were the same as was the push in flap on the front of the powder drawer. Although I never had much call to look inside the machine, the dryer motor looks familiar. One of the smaller knobs was for drying time and I think it offered two temperatures. For the life of me I cannot remember if the other smaller knob was for wash temperature or spin speed. It was self condensing and was around 55 cm deep, maybe slightly less. the motor on mine was also branded Philco. I had it until 1997 when I passed it on to a friend. It lasted until 2002 when it caught fire. I then had an accusing phone call saying "MY" washer dryer had caught fire with no mention or thanks for five years free useage. That person is not my friend any more ..... Al |

Philco of Italy made the Equator combos too. They were great until Philco moved.the plant to Spain. Thrre were some screw ups on a few cratefulls of the Equator labled models and ,after a court hearing losing to Equator, they stopped making them under their lable. This particular one is similar to Equators EZ1000.
