YESSSSS! Because Whirlpool has yet to outsource it's products (at least most of them). Could have been worse and they could have gone Chinese. |

Even worse than the Chinese, Maytag could have gone to a WCI type of el cheapo domestic mfg. Whirlpool at least seems to put some decent engineering into many of their appliances. I look forward to seeing a Neptune 7500 style menu-driven control panel on a Duet or other Whirlpool Corp front loader - hopefully. |
