What a great find! This is a great dishwasher. Such a timeless beauty. Are you the soap cups working well? Enjoy your new Kitchenaid! |

Re: the soap cup, it locks closed, but didn't open during cycle. I assume it's supposed to be open at end of cycle. It has a little soap basket added on the top rack. Any suggestions on how to repair? |

This is the one I put on my KDS-15. It worked perfectly. A pain to put on but worked like a charm. I paid $40 for mine so this $45 seems reasonable. Says new in the package so you can't beat that. CLICK HERE TO GO TO chachp's LINK on eBay |

Did you keep the control panel on your machine, by any chance? If you did, is it the same pinkish color as the photo at the top of this thread?
I'm looking for the control panel in pink. My KDS-55 (a portable/convertible version of the KDS-15) has the later Ye Olde Fayke Woode Graine panel, and I'd love to find a pink panel. Ron: I hope you know how lucky you are to find a 15 in such pristine cosmetic condition! Hang in there on the detergent dispenser; there are several people here who may be able to help. That beauty is well, well, WELL worth saving. |
