The early Wards washers would be Norge built. Later ones were Westinghouse or WCI. |

Thanks Fixerman I was thinking Westinghouse for the later ones. That washer was great I think I still have the book for it and the fabric softner dispenser. |

Apex made top-loading washers for MW in the 50's, Westinghouse made the front-loaders. After Apex was out of business, Norge made the top-loaders. Norge continued to build the MW/Signature line and they added Westinghouse/WCI to the line up in the early to mid 70's. I have several catalogs from the 60's and 70's, should do some scanning. I had this page in my yahoo album from 1978... |
