Looking for a low price compact front load washer. What is a good brand, whirlpool kenmore or bosch. Thank You.

I have to vote for the Bosch. However, it will not be the cheapest choice.

If you went compact then the best choice is a topload washer

If you went something compact and low price the best choice would be to buy a good old fashion topload washer like this in the coming picture

Goodness Pierre, you REALLY cannot believe that people want to buy FL machines, can you?!

When someone asks for help deciding on a compact FL washer (as stated in post 1), it's not that helpful to completely derail the topic.

And back on topic, I'd suggest a Bosch from those three. Though an Electrolux group machine, if there's one that suits, or LG may also be a good bet.

You could also consider something like Blomberg.

I'd go Whirlpool or Bosch.

FLs don't typically occupy the lower price tiers though IMO worth the difference. Today's cheap/compact TLs are plate drive which have pronounced drawbacks like fabric wear, tangling, not using enough water. (I own one but it's a twintub so I control the water and the agitate time.)

Hard to scale the sizes from photos; most seem designed to appear gargantuan whether they really are or not. (Marketing, rolleyes.)

Had good use from my Electrolux (via White/Frigidaire). But nothing is the same as it was in 1998.

I will say one thing in favor of Pierre's picture and that is that the 24" WP dryer is an excellent compact dryer. It is quiet and efficient.

I'm a bit skeptical of that review of the Blomberg machine - they say they struggle to fit an 8lb load in it... so I wonder what on earth they were trying to wash, as an 8lb load in my 7kg rated machine will barely half fill it.
