Where would this machine be at in the line up? Is this the most top of the line or somewhere towards the middle of the line? |

I think the price is a little steep. As a rule, I don't like to spend more than $100 on used DW or W/D's unless they are in excellent condition, i.e. clean, undamaged and in perfect working order. |

this is a model with the tower sticking up in the middle. Our current Maytag doesn't have that and it makes it so much easier to load the machine. I don't think I'd ever have another tower type DW ever again because of this. |

Yes, it has drawbacks, but it was another step along Maytag's evolution in dishwashers and loading peculiarities aside, Maytags can't be faulted for their cleaning performance, with the fine filters and those needle sharp jets of water. |

You are right there. Our last Maytag in our last house was similar to this one. And it too cleaned perfectly. |
