Well, well, well, just in time for the holidays I'd say. Introducing my very own KDA-5G Kitchenaid Varicycle by Hobart. THANK YOU KEVIN! So with a new addition to my constantly multiplying ménage of mechanical minions, comes a myriad of wonders. How would I go about removing the spray arms on this? It had been mentioned to me that the strainer is wrong side up. Are there any quirks about these washers? Any recommendations as far as it's up keep? I'll be honest in telling you this is the first time I've owned a dishwasher. I've used it twice so far, and was impressed at how well it cleaned. I'm looking forward to putting this to the test on this Thanksgiving's aftermath.

The wash arm just lifts off. Just grab it by the black hub and pull up. When you put it back on, you'll here/feel a definite "click" as it drops into place. Congrats on your "new" machine! You'll love it! Have a great holiday!! |

@Bigalsf; That's what I thought, but it seems stuck and I didn't want to pull too hard and break something. Could it be possible that it's stuck? Or do these just snap on really tight? How often are these "4-Way Hydro Sweep" type spray arms supossed to be taken out to clean the strainer? I would think after each use, but I don't know. @Bluejay Thank's! ;) @Rp2813; Yes it is! I seriously can't wait to use this with a full load of Thanksgiving dishes, I love the sounds it makes. I remember watching this washer in awe as it chugged away at Kevin's wash-in. :)
