the best choice if you have the room or space would be a set like this with a rack with the dryer bolted on top if you have the space if not a vintage set like this would do the job well as well and the dvantage of a set like this is if one day you move they can be converted to portable models

Looking on AjMadison, there are quite a few unitized sets with controls in the middle. GE/Kenmore has some, as well as Frigidaire. Not sure about the quality of either of those, though.
Both Speed Queen and Whirlpool/Maytag have unitized front loader stacks for commercial applications with controls in the middle.
Lastly, you could also stack a European set. The controls for the dryer would be roughly 5' 5" high. |
