Nate, Roger, & Ross, I can't even begin to describe what I time I had. My parents remarked tonight when I called them they'd not heard me that happy in a long time. The hospitality and the cementing of friendships in-and-of-itself made it worthwhile. All the effort that went into this was never unnoticed by me at all.

Erik, Steve, & Terry, y'all are an awesome team from start to finish. I"m still pining for more of that pasta dish Steve!!

And now I'm feeling kinda sad and isolated again on lots of fronts. :-) :-( Bob

Bob, I'm glad to see you made it home safe and sound. It was wonderful to see you as always. Hope to see you in Texas perhaps later this year!

''Like the Arizona wash-in...Maytag, the RIGHT combi

Hi Bob,

Glad you were able to make it; it was great talking to you again after 4 months! You ready for another TX wash-in? ;-)

I agree 100% with what you said; I know I've mentioned to a few of y'all, but out of all the wash-ins I've attended or helped to organize, this one was by far the ABSOLUTE MOST FUN. I continue to thank Nate, Roger, & Ross for the effort they put into this wash-in to make it a success, and a success it was!!!! The best hosts anyone could ask for, and the atmosphere was very calm and laid-back as well. From the moment we were greeted by Ross & Roger at the airport, just leaving the terminal, I knew we were going to have a good time.

Now please, don't get me wrong or take this the wrong way; the Convention and the other wash-ins that I mentioned above were great and I had lots of fun there, but there was just *something* about the AZ wash-in that made it one spectacular event; the people, places, food, machines...just EVERYTHING. Not to mention the weather was PERFECT (I was in my element the whole time I was exposed to the dry climate and I'm definitely considering Tucson as a future "place of residence") this time of year and on our side as well; nice, bright & sunny all 3 days! Not too hot during the day, and nice & cool at night. Arizona is one beautiful state as well, and I highly recommend a visit if you haven't seen it before...I had never been until last weekend!!

The only downside was that everything went by WAY TOO FAST. After months of anticipation, it's hard to believe it's already over. Next time it needs to be a week long! :)

Will try to upload the pictures tomorrow...

Thank you!

Unfortunately I was only able to make it down on Saturday but had a great time, I will have to get back down soon so I can see the additions to Roger and Nate's collections. It was nice to meet everyone - there are a lot of great people who belong to this site and am glad that you are part of my family.

Thanks again!

Jim

You're all so kind and very sweet, and it was such a pleasure to get to spend time with all of you.

We'll be looking forward to seeing you all again soon--a la Tucson, or perhaps a Texas wash-in? ;-)

Austin I am ready for another Texas wash-in. I need to feed the monkey on my back of the addiction of us being together wish suds, duds, machines, and foodies.

Feed it regularly, but don't spank it too often!
