I second both of the previous and since you'll already be on the lower East Side you might want to check out Bloom & Krup on 14th Street, near Avenue A.

New York City

Hi PeterSki50, how are you doing? I'm deaf.

I went to New York City at PC Richard by E. 14th St. I saw some front load washer about:
- LG (small load) Combination Washer-Dryer and Regular
- Equilax and with combination
- Maytag
- Whirlpool
- Malber and with combination
- GE
- etc.

Thanks for information to send from you....next time I will go to Bloom & Krup>

Peter:

I went to high school at 15th Street and First Avenue in Manhattan and passed that school for the deaf every day.

It took me a while to figure out that flashing classroom lights was the instructors' way of getting everyone's attention!

hmmmm

I'd try the 14A or 14D, if I am reading the map correctly.

Although the last (eastern) stop on the *L* train line at First Avenue is about four blocks at most from your target destination.

Useless, most-politically incorrect tid-bit:
When I was a kid in High-school and had to take the *L* line it was then officially known as the *LL* line. Of course we named it the *LLL* line (*low-life local*).
