A friend called me tonight and told me about a show that had been on HGTV....or some channel she could not remember. The show featured a guy in Texas. Town of two words. She said while you do your laundry in the modern washers you can walk around and see all the laundry memorabilia and vintage machines. And There was something about the way he spelled Laundromat...Between the two of us I found this on the net.

Tom, I have a sister that lives in Dallas. She told me there was an early morning news sgment about this on the ABC affiliate there. It's located in the town of Mineral Wells, west of Ft. Worth. Looks like I won't be spending Christmas in Dallas this year, but here. She told me she'd take me to Mineral Wells to see it. But since there are few automaticfs there, I'd probably not be interested.

Neat link Tom. I love all the old stuff he has in his laundromat.

Few automatics....

I was disappointed that there were few automatics also. I may still make that side trip my next trip through Texas. Lots of neat stuff. Also there is a old building saved by a local from demolition there. Kind of a OLD store museum "The daily Grind".

Oh by the way Bob, as of the last scan they did on my friend....she is cancer free !! She is continuing chemo per Doctors orders. That is still keeping her feeling sub-human. However this will be over by christmastime. We are all very happy. :)

Tom, I am so thankful for the good news about your friend. Scot & White Memorial Hospital's excellent Cancer Center does it again.
