Today, Iwent down to go sailing. On, my way, I stopped at Smith's. There it sat. An L G top loader. On it was a printed note claiming the return reasoning was that it was loud when, it spun. I looked underneath and there was a plastic piece from shipping blocking the motor. As it moved ,it made a scraping noise that got louder the faster it went. Kevin, one of Charlies refrigerator guys watched me and as it worked quietly, he took, one look at Charlie and said " You know he'll pester us if we don't let him have it." Charlie said " Yea, but we might as well let him have that Bosch we just got in." I told him I had gotten it already. He said no,there's another one we just got in. I think it works. Its matching dryer got cooked. So, tomorrow, Shawn and I wll go pick them up. I'm real anxious to get a top loader like, this LG. I'll keep you posted. Sailing was great too. I got what's called "hillbilly moonshine pot" it comes in a vile with a siphon, tear dropper. You fill it half way,put it under your.bb tongue, squirt it out and close your mouth. Keep it there. It burns a few minutes like pepper but gets you real stoned.

Picked it up today. Never thought I'd ever see another top loader I'd like but, this ones a hit. I asked Charlie if he, wanted it and he said no so,it was fair game.
May have been run empty or not at all. Everything but Tide coupons was with it snugged in with the hoses and - shipping pieces. I ran a small load of mixed darks in warm with a cold rinse on normal with extra rinse. It's a WT1101CW . The control panel is flat facing upward toward the ceiling. There's a nice clear glass door with chrome handle that doesn't slam with a hinge that lets you unlatch both sides to air out the interior tub keeping it dry and mildew free. I'm now washing bed linens mixed with white bath towels in hot. No bleach,no softener. If I decide to use the heavy duty cycle, it has a whopping 1100 RPM final spin that lasts FIFTEEN MINUTES !!!!!! |

My first off balance load today. I mixed a king blanket with a colorfast load and the final spin failed. When I went, to remove and hang the clothes they were still drip dry. I redistributed them and reset the program to spin only. Worked fine. No issues. I'm so glad I found this gem. It holds a lot of dirty laundry and stays quiet. My favorite cycles are heavy duty and bulky bed clothes. They are great at getting out the grime.

So,
Today I decided to throw in a runner. Nine feet long by eighteen inches across. We have three of them in. our hallway. I dropped one in the WT1101CW Top loader and set the "Bulky bed" cycle. A 55 minute program that fills the tub with water all the way to the top. I used one capfull of Gain HE and hot wash. It not only washed them uniformly clean but was able to do it with NO problems with spinning off balance!!!!!! I was surprised and glad of that because no other top load washer I had would even be able to even load these big, long rugs because the agitators won't allow it to fit AND probably go off balance. Nonetheless, the last of three rugs is in its final spin. They take about the same time to dry on "Speed Dry" cycle. As it fills, the tub rotares. Then, it stops, readjusts and begins to oscillate. As it did this, I watched the rug move not only back and forth but upside down, inside out and side to side. No knottin up. The fabric is hard almost like burlap. But, you would think it was a big towel the way it easily moved all directions . All I can say is"WOW". |

So "Bulky Bed" cycle fills to the top? Very cool. How about the other cycles? Is the "hot" really hot or is it luke warm? Sounds like you're having fun. Enjoy! Jim |

So far Jon,the Heavy Duty and Bulky Bed use the max. The whites about half but,it really has more to do with how big the load sensor determins it to be. Not only during the original fill but all through the agitation too. It really is quite surprising to me how smart this washer is. You just can't fool it. So fun to watch . On mine you can see clear because it isn't tinted but clear glass on white on white.
