Working GE Filter-Flo with mini-basket. I'm in Lake County, about two hours from Sacramento and San Francisco. Would be willing to deliver or meet halfway to ensure this does not go to the crusher. Please contact me email toddmetcalf46@yahoo.com or cell 707-499-8576 if interested or want more pics. Thank you. Todd

I was going to ask why you're getting rid of this one when you just picked up another one.... but I'd guess it's because the other one is older, I would guess '68 - '70.
Having had both, personally I like the action / movement of the ramp agitator much better than the straight vane.
Good luck moving it, it looks to be in beautiful condition!

Great news! I found a good home for this machine! Unbelievable, I got a call from a guy only about 20 minutes away (I will not mention names to protect the innocent!) who will take it. He said he knows how to repair GEs and Kenmores/Whirlpools so how perfect. I even asked him if he could help me tackle my early 60s turquoise Highlander washer and he's willing to take a look. So, a win-win situation for me, the GE, and I made a very close connection to a fellow washer lover!

So today I met the "mystery washer man" in person here in lovely Lake County! So nice to have someone only 20 minutes away that speaks the same laundry language as I do! He is now the proud owner of the GE washer, and I couldn't be happier that it landed with such a caring owner. He also helped me out with my '64 Kenmore washer which unfortunately has a bad motor...need to find a new motor for that. He used to regularly repair Kenmore/Whirlpool and GE washers, so he is a new and invaluable friend! I'm only good at fixing and appreciating, Norge/Wards repairs, not much else.
Anyway, another machine goes to a good home, and most importantly, a great connection made with a new washer friend! Cheers, Todd |
