I apologise as this is a little diversion, but this seemed the best place to start. I'm a keen costumer and member of the Star Wars community. In our group we pride ourselves in reproducing, the movie costumes to a reenactment level of detail. Our aim is to have our costumes indistinguishable from the film. Our costumes are created / purchased by the members, and we attend charity / promotional events collecting money and donating it 100% to charity, our costs of getting to the events coming out of our own pockets.
We believe the oxygen hose worn by the Xwing pilots in the 1977 film Star Wars was a grey rubber washing machine hose, with a black right angle elbow connector.
I would dearly like your assistance in identifying this part.
Sadly I don't have a very good picture, but I can try and get more if you are able to help.

not that it would be all that hard to find....but you may have to improvise as to whats available....after all, that's how this costume was assembled, by improvising parts....

what you have there is nothing more than a dishwasher drain hose, some portable washers used the rubber coated type, but none the less, its corrugated....

what your looking for is rubber coated, corrugated, plus a 90 degree bend at one end, plus it has to be gray with the end part being black...

you may find that the whole hose will be gray, and if the end is not black rubber, you may have to tape it off and paint that one piece...that's about as close as your going to get....there may be an off chance that the end you find may actually be black.....

you may have to do some searching like on ebay.....but not knowing exactly where that hose came from, its going to take a while...

something like this from ebay might work....

good luck
