I came across this today and had to have it! It is in great condition and all works. The only this is its quite noisy, but I seem to remember Hoover spinners always were. If anyone can date this please? It even came with the instruction book!

Very nice machine. After the model number the first digit is the year - could be 1984 as I think the grey models were the last run and the next 2 digits are the month - July.

Has it got its original drain hose? You can still get these for the spinners.
:)

Thanks guys, its the same age as me then, 40 years old! I dont think you can get drain hoses for these anymore, ive seen people put a generic waste pipe on them. Mine does have the original hose although it has been shortened. The original fill hose also, but it was so brittle ive thrown it but kept the tap end. The instruction manual is interesting, it shows the single tub also.

Some more pics for you lovely people

Hi. I've got one of the last ones made and mine is noisy as anything rattles away etc. One thing I've noticed to dampen the noise is to push everything down in the spin chamber nice and tight and it's a little less noisy. I love mine. Kitchen looks like I've flooded it when I've finished though lol
