I took it apart and has couple burnt contacts. Probably could rebuild it if I could find the contact strips. Thought someone here might have one. Thanks. |

Rebuilding timers is an art and you will not find the parts you need except by taking apart another timer that has good contacts in it.
That is not a difficult timer to find as your original post noted. $85 may seem steep but that honestly is a pretty normal price for a timer on ebay. You might be able to find one for less somewhere else. |

Keep pursuing this. Your Maytag is worth hanging onto. If no one here has a timer for you and $85 is all you need to spend to keep it running for any number of additional years, that's a bargain.
You could also check craigslist and see if there's a cheap or free Maytag you could harvest the timer and other parts off of for any future needs. |
